Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Arusha
Your safari stats with a pick up from your hotel in Arusha or from Arusha airport and you drive to Serengeti national park. It is one of the most visited parks in Tanzania teeming with a varied array of birdlife and animal life including the most sought after Big 5, the lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and the endangered rhinoceros.
Enjoy a game drive when you reach the park premises as you drive to your lodge /camp for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Exploring Serengeti National Park
Early morning rise, have a light breakfast and pack some food for lunch for today you are going on a game drive extravaganza around the Serengeti plains.
Start with a pre-sunrise game drive to watch the park come to life at the first ray of the sun, herbivores grazing, predators out on a morning hunt, nocturnal animals feeding on their last night kill and the avian life up in skies looking to get the first worm.
Break off for a picnic lunch at a scenic safe designated area and then drive to the Seronera region of Serengeti that is always teeming with animals all year round supported by the ever-present Seronera River situated in the Seronera valley.
At sunset, as the nocturnal animals plan on getting their day night while the rest of the park goes to sleep, so will you retreat back to your lodge / camp for dinner and a restful night.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation area to Arusha
Exit Serengeti for Ngorongoro conservation area a unique and natural beauty that is home to the famous Ngorongoro crater. You will go on a game drive at the floor of this world natural wonder ascending 600 meters down through the lush rainforest on the walls of the crater.
Expect to come across different bird species as over 400 species inhabit the crater like water birds which you will see around the crater lake like herons, pelicans and flamingos. Also expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, kudus, waterbucks, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos among others.
You will have your picnic lunch next to the hippo pool in the crater.
Ascend to the crater rim, drive around as you marvel at the scenic landscapes of Ngorongoro on your way to Arusha where you will spend the night.
Day 4: Flight to Kigali, Rwanda & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Afte your breakfast, you will check out of your hotel. Your tour guide will drive you to Arusha airport to catch your flight to Kigali.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your tour guide. He will drive you to Bwindi on a scenic drive through the beautiful rolling hills of North Rwanda. After a long but rewarding road trip, you will be in Bwindi in Southwestern Uganda at your safari lodge for the night.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla trekking is always done early in the morning in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It is ome to almost half of the mountain gorilla population in the world leaving in the wild.
It will take you anywhere from 2-7 hours to track down a gorilla family as they keep moving and changing location, with the help of your guide, you will be able to find them, spend an hour in their presence before you walk back to the main gate where your tour guide will be waiting to drive you back to your safari lodge for lunch.
You can choose what you do with the rest remainder of the day.
Day 6: Back to Kigali & End of safari
You will drive back to Kigali to catch your flight back home. Depending on the time of your flight, you can take on a short Kigali city tour.
