- Day 1: Transfer to Moshi start the hike from Machame gate.

Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Moshi start the hike from Machame gate.
Arrival at Moshi where you immediately embark on a hike with the aim of reaching Machame camp which elevates up to 3000 meters of sea level. The hike will take you through the lush vegetation of the mountain and the moorlands.
Lunch will be served at Machame camp. After lunch continue with the hike up to Shira camp. This hike will take you the entire afternoon and you will relax at Shira camp which is about 3500 meters above sea level. Dinner will be served later on and camp there overnight.
Day 2: Hike to Barranco camp.
Breakfast will be served at Shira camp in the early morning hours after which the travelers will embark on the hike to the next destination. The hike will take them through the Barranco wall which elevates up to 257 meters high.
Continue with the hike in the afternoon until you reach. Barranco camp.
Day 3: Trek to Karanga camp.
After breakfast, embark on the hike to the next camp. While on the hike you will cross the Alpine desserts on the mountain as you approach the rocky areas.
In the afternoon, continue to Karanga camp which elevates up to 3963 meters above sea level. On arrival at the camp, you will relax from the long hike.
Day 4: Hike to Barafu camp.
The hike to the summit will possibly take up to two days. On this fourth day guests will hike up to Barafu camp which effects up to 4673 meters above sea level.
Continue to the camp in the afternoon. On arrival at Barafu camp guests will rest and prepare for the final ascent the following day.
Day 5: Summit climb.
After breakfast, embark on the early morning climb up to the highest point of the mountain – Uhuru peak. On arrival at the peak, trekkers will have to celebrate their achievement and enjoy the moment.
While at the top, visitors will have views of the distant and Amboseli and Serengeti National Parks. Continue with the relaxation activities at the top as you take beautiful photographs.
Day 6: Descend to Millennium camp.
Embark on the descending journey through the snow and the rocky areas. Continue to the Millennium camp which elevates up to 3,733 metres above sea level.
On arrival at the camp, relax and prepare for their descending journey the next day.
Day 7: Descend to Mweka and the departure.
Embark on the descent to Mweka camp which elevates up to 1800 meters above sea level. The journey will take them through the lush vegetation, the Alpine desserts and the moorland. At this level there will also be an opportunity to view wild animals that inhabit the slopes of this mountain and beautiful birds.
Animals include aardvark, tree hyrax, duikers, white tailed mongoose, white necked raven and marsh mongoose.
