Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Airport to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, your safari guide will pick you up and drive you to the most popular park in Kenya, Masai Mara national reserve, famously known for the great wildebeest migration. Embark on a game drive in Maasai Mara as you drive to your safari camp where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve full day exploration
Spend this day on a game viewing adventure in Maasai Mara national reserve. You will head out into the park at different times of the day. First an early morning game drive pre-sunrise to watch the Maasai Mara come to life at sunrise, for a chance to see some nocturnal animals and the predators on a morning hunt.
Return to your safari camp in the mid-afternoon for lunch and some relaxation from the hot sun. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to another region of the Masai Mara to explore of what the plains inhabit.
Like the impalas, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, crocodiles, cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, elands, jackals, rhinos (though rare), leopards, wildebeests, zebras, lions, buffalos, elephants, and hundreds of different species of birds.
For those who will be in the park during the great migration season, you will get a chance to witness millions of ungulates on the move. Dinner and overnight back at the safari camp.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania
After your breakfast, you will check out and drive off out of Masai Mara national reserve, Southwards towards the Kenya – Tanzania border.
You will complete some formalities then cross the border into Tanzania driving towards the Serengeti national park. Enjoy the scenic views and some wildlife sightings as you drive to the safari camp in. Near Serengeti where you will spend the next 2 nights of this 6-day safari.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park full day exploration
Serengeti national park is a vast park with a rich ecosystem that supports hundreds of different animal species in big numbers and bird species.
The Serengeti ecosystem supports the annual great wildebeest migration every year. Which is the main attraction of tourists to this park. Other activities you can do while in Serengeti include. A cultural visit to a Maasai village and a hot air balloon flight over the vast plains.
Spend the whole day today exploring Serengeti national park.
Day 5: Exit Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Crater game drive
Leave Serengeti early in the morning. Drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for a different kind of experience. A game drive at the floor of the unbroken caldera, the Ngorongoro crater.
The unique ecosystem and different habitats in a space od 260 sq kms support over 25,000 animals and a diverse bird-life.
You will have 5 hours to explore the crater floor. With chances of setting your sight on the big 5 among other animals. Have lunch by the hippo pool side. Then ascend to the crater rim and continue of a game drive in the other areas of the conservation area.
Later in the day, you will drive to your safari camp for a relaxing evening.
Day 6: Departure – End of Safari
We come to the end of your 6-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. A drop off in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro airport for your home bound flight.
