Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and hotel transfer – Arusha
You will be warmly welcomed to Tanzania, home to all the Big Five and the wildebeest migration. Tanzania is found in East Africa’s Great Lakes region and is known for having some of the best wildlife parks in Africa, including Serengeti National Park. When you arrive at the airport, your private tour guide and driver will meet you and take you to your comfortable lodge or hotel in Arusha.
Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Serengeti for wildlife viewing
After an early breakfast, your private driver will pick you up and take you to the Northern Circuit to explore Serengeti National Park. This park is large, covering 14,763 square kilometers, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is home to all of the Big Five animals. You will arrive in the park in time for lunch at the lodge. After relaxing, go for a late afternoon game drive where you may see lions, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, and more.
Day 3: Wildebeest migration safari in Serengeti
After breakfast, set off in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Today’s focus will be on the wildebeest migration. You will enjoy a game drive in the park as you follow the herds. Lunch will be served in the middle of the savannah. Later, continue the game drive as you look for more animals like cheetahs, lions, elephants, antelopes, and giraffes. In the evening, return to the lodge for rest.
Day 4: Return to Arusha – End of safari
After breakfast, check out of your tented lodge. Go for a morning game drive as you exit Serengeti National Park. Then drive back to Arusha, one of the major cities in East Africa.
This marks the end of your safari.
