Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East, game drive
On the first day of your safari, penetrate to Tsavo after meeting up with the assigned driver guide in Nairobi. Tsavo East was established in 1948 and covers an area of 13747 square kilometres which is a semi-arid area known as the Teru desert.
Head to the lodge for your dinner and this will mark the end of the day.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Tsavo West
Have a morning game drive where more of the animals and birds will be spotted. It will be followed by a transfer to Tsavo West. This will be done after breakfast and on arrival. You will head for an evening game drive since this park offers the best wildlife viewing.
Tsavo West is located in the coastal province. It covers an area of 9,065 square kilometers with great wildlife. Such as kudu, buffalos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, topi, hyenas, giraffes and many more. In the evening, head to the booked lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
Have a morning game drive after breakfast and then transfer back to Nairobi with enroute lunch break. This will be the end of your tour in Tsavo East and Tsavo West national parks.
