Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park
Early morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Serengeti national park. Enjoy the scenic drive to Serengeti. You will drive straight to your accommodation for check in and lunch, after which you will embark on an afternoon game drive. Look out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalos, lions among others. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 2: Game drives in Serengeti National Park
Have breakfast and then head out for an early morning game drive. Morning game drives offer more wildlife actions as animals are more active in the early hours of the day trying to get food to take them through the day like the predators hunting early in the morning, herbivores up and early to graze on the grass still wet with dew, hippos out of the water grazing before the sun gets brighter and hotter.
In the afternoon you will drive back to your accommodation for lunch and some rest as the hot savannah sun cools down a bit.
In the late afternoon, you will drive to the Seronera region of Serengeti for more great game viewing. This area of the park teems of varied animal species and you have a chance to spot the Big 5; lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and the rare black rhino. Retire back to your accommodation at sunset.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater game drive and Departure
After your breakfast as you make your way to Ngorongoro conservation area, enjoy one last game drive. Ngorongoro conservation area is home to the world-famous crater.
You will go on a game drive at the floor of Ngorongoro crater for a thrilling game viewing experience as the crater is home to over 25,000 animals, the densest population of lions in the world and over 400 different species of birds.
After about 5 hours of game viewing. You will have a break to have your picnic lunch by the hippo pool side. After drive out of the crater. Head to Arusha where your tour guide will drop you back at your hotel. End of safari.
