Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Arrive at Arusha airport where you find your safari guide waiting for you. He will welcome you and you will drive to towards Serengeti national park, the most popular destination in the north of Tanzania.
Reach your lodge in the afternoon in time for lunch, check in and after head out for a late afternoon game drive and be introduced to the animals and birds that call Serengeti national park home. Watch the Serengeti go to sleep at sunset as you also drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park
An early morning rise for a sunrise game drive for a chance to witness the migration as the early morning hours provide the best wildlife action when the animals of the Serengeti are preparing to get up and going for the day.
You will catch millions of wildebeests and thousands of other ungulates trekking the plains of Serengeti moving northwards searching for fresh grazing grounds.
They are always accompanied by the predators of Serengeti, that is the lions, hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Expect some predator-prey action.
Return to your lodge for lunch and some rest and relaxation. In the late afternoon, you will head back into the park and explore other areas of the park for more animal sightings like elephants, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, water-bucks, black rhinos, hartebeests among others. At sunset, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and overnight.
Day 3: Back to Arusha
One more game drive as you exit the park for Arusha. You can opt for Hot air ballooning safari. Get a chance to see the Serengeti as the birds see it from above. Drop off at the airport for your flight back home.
