Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from the airport
Your safari tour guide for this 10-day safari will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport and drive you to your accommodation for today in Arusha town / city, where most of the wildlife safaris begin from.
If you arrive during the day, you could go on a city tour in Arusha.
Day 2-3: Serengeti National Park
Your first destination on this 10-day safari is Serengeti national park, the most popular in Tanzania. Go on game drives at different times of the day to traverse the endless plains of this vast savannah looking out for lions, wildebeest, elephants, elands, kudu, dik-dik, hippos, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, jackals, foxes, ostriches, eagles, vultures among others. Meals and nights at the lodge or safari camp.
Day 4-5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area home to the most unique natural feature, the Ngorongoro crater that is the highlight of the visit to this protected area.
Ngorongoro areas is home to many different animal species with 30,000 animals leaving within the lush green walls of the crater at its 260 sq km floor.
You will go on games around the crater rim offering very stunning views of the crater below, areas around the conservation area and a magical game drive at the floor of Ngorongoro crater.
Keep your camera rolling as you have a high chance of seeing all the members of the iconic Big 5 within the unbroken crater walls. Meals and nights at the lodge or safari camp.
Day 6-7: Lake Manyara National Park
Two thirds of this park are covered by Lake Manyara, the center piece of the park. Which is part of the unique landscape of the park and ecosystem that supports the animals that call the park home.
Also famously known as the home to the unique tree climbing lions. For bird lovers, Lake Manyara attracts flocks of different water birds like the flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and other migrant species during the wet season, creating a bird paradise.
Take on game drives to explore the wilderness of Lake Manyara national park. Get to visit the famous Mto wa Mbu village. Meals and nights at the lodge or safari camp.
Day 8: Tarangire National Park
Home to the largest land mammal, the majestic African Elephants. Tarangire national park is famously known for inhabiting huge herds of elephants of up to 300 cows, bulls and calves combined.
Be sure to see many of them while on a game drive in Tarangire among other animals like cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, antelopes, birds and also look out for the ancient baobab trees, a unique feature in this park standing so tall above the wildlife.

Day 9: Arusha City tour
Exit Tarangire national park with one last game drive as you head to Arusha. You will go on a city tour around Arusha, get to do some shopping for souvenirs or gifts.
Day 10: End of Safari
After breakfast, spend your morning at leisure as you wait for the driver. To pick you up and drop you at the airport for your home bound flight.
